  1. i like the size of the mini but nearest dealer is 100 mi away i do not understand why our own big three cant make a mini that has great range. Or do we just allow other countries to out perform us i also like the ideal of plug in hybrid My last auto was a 2015 Prius best i hv ever owned. A smooth salesman talked me into trading for a hybrid Carola the Prius is a better auto.i dont understand in a hybrid does the auto drive using electric motor to the road or does the engine only keep the battery charged??

.Battery production
.Transportation and import duties
.Economies of scale
.Lower labor costs
.Different consumer preferences.
